The institution relied on PeopleSoft for core finance and HR functions, but responsibility for supporting the environment was fragmented. Infrastructure, application support, and end-user IT were handled across multiple vendors and internal teams, driving up costs and slowing resolution when issues crossed system boundaries.
Aqil was engaged as the primary MSP and PeopleSoft specialist provider, delivering coordinated Level 2 and Level 3 support across the application, supporting infrastructure, and user experience. This consolidated operational responsibility under a single team while allowing the institution to retain strategic oversight of its systems.
PeopleSoft issues were no longer treated in isolation. When payroll processing ran long, batch jobs failed, or access issues impacted users, the same team could address the application, underlying systems, and operational impact without vendor handoffs or prolonged escalation.
